Christmas in the Botanical Garden, Atlanta. A weird and spectacular event located in the middle of the town. I stayed 2 months with my familiy, visited friends and places I know since I was a kid. Somehow my home, always close, but still very far away. These are just a few impressions, nice to look at.
The new blue walking area which used to be a railroad.
Midtown traffic at Piedmont Ave. That’s where I use to stay.
That’s a colourful painted, but not very nice place in downtown, a street called „Peachtree“
Take the colours awy, please. The Dome you see in the background. Remember it? Olympia 1996. Yeap!
Atlanta has a cool skyline. Surrounded by areas which I call slums. That’s where Jeannette grew up, my mother. Read „Itke“, discribing her youth.
Sitt’n in Cafes like this one at Peachtree. Looks a bit like in Vienna, but I don’t care.
That’s Steven, my cousin, in front of his gorgious frame store in Atlanta-Midtown on Monroe Ave. You need a frame? Call’m!
Live music (since 1972!) in the „Northside Tavern“, play’n the „Atlanta Blues“. We’re always there.
A Christmas beauty in a Cafe, someth’n like Star… Check it!
Beautiful dogs, hardwork’n man and more.
Black lives matter – a huge grafiti in Atlanta-Midtown
High Museum Atlanta – is needs not an angel to see
Stone Mountain. I always go there. Climb up. This is pure granite, burst.
